Thomas Headon was born in London and raised in Melbourne, but dreamt of moving back to the city to pursue music. Thomasâ mum told him he had a year to get a âproper jobâ otherwise he would have to return home. Arriving in London just before the pandemic hit, Thomas started to build a community online - blowing up on TikTok with 420K followers and over 15M likes to date - with his off-kilter live sessions, tongue-in-cheek charm and remarkable songwriting ability. Learning to write and produce on his own in his late teens, Thomas has already released two self-written and self-produced EPâs, âThe Greatest Hitsâ and âThe Goodbye EPâ in 2020, amassing 55M streams world wide. All before his 21st birthday.
Today, Thomas shares his brand new single, âHow Do I Know?â, pulled from his upcoming EP Victoria which is due 11th March 2022 and available to pre-order now. Fuelled with beachy chords, the track comes accompanied by a live video reminiscent of early 00s garage bands, and sees Thomas perform in his backyard on a sunny day with his band while he navigates the confusing feelings between young love and lust.
âHow Do I Know?' follows Thomasâ recent hits âNobody Has To Knowâ and the Radio 1-playlisted âStrawberry Kissesâ - which was also dubbed Radio 1âs Hottest Record - as the third offering from his upcoming EP, he also recently collaborated with Chloe Moriondo and Alfie Templeton on the brilliant 'Dizzy'. Hundreds of lucky fans already got a chance to preview the new EP at Reading & Leeds festival, where Thomas played his first UK festival to a packed out Dance Stage, and met Norwegian popstar Sigrid, who he will be joining on tour in Spring 2022 following his incredible stint of headline tour dates around the UK in November 2021 - which included two sold-out nights at Londonâs Heaven.
To celebrate the EP's release Thomas will also be heading out on a Record Store tour, where he'll be playing some intimate shows and giving fans a chance to get their Vinyls and merch signed on the week of release.
